Social Networking for Business: The Values and Dangers
Social networking may sound trivial and insignificant for your business especially with the fact that the most popular social networking sites nowadays thrive in gossips and personal issues. But if you only take a closer look, you will realize that it can translate into real and tangible benefits for you and your business. For one, social networking and creating a social networking website of your own will allow your business to make radical innovations just to satisfy your existing customers and more so, to attract more customers. A social network for your business will also help you in your human resource as you can then hire the right people who will help you promote your products and services online.
Several businesses have included social networking in their business strategy and they started with a good planning before they ventured onto the project. Then they made use of the most cost-effective way to create a social networking website of their own (every company has different views of what cost-effective is). But all of these businesses have reaped at least one of the so many benefits and advantages of establishing their very own business social network online. Some of these benefits are as follows:
Meeting unforeseen business collaborators and partners – colleagues who, with mutual understanding, will work in partnership with you to improve your business and meet your business goals
Creating a large-scale business from virtually nothing as the social networking site can present so many opportunities and can open so many doors from finding a financier to finding a buyer and of course to advertising products and services
Hooking up with great talents in the social network channel who can be a good addition to your pool of human resource
Cheap marketing and advertising strategies as online promotion and publicity has always been very economical compared to other advertising schemes
Improving and enhancing products and services through consumer comments and feedbacks
Surely there are more advantages and benefits that you can get from social networking so you should not dilly-dally and create a social networking website of your own now so you can start reaping the benefits as well.

Girl’s ‘suicide video’ sparks outrage online
Days after a 12-year-old girl broadcast her suicide live on a social media site; Polk County Police Chief Kenny Dodd said he can’t stop people from sharing the video online. In the video, Katelyn Nicole Davis claimed she had been physically and sexually abused by a family member, then hung herself in the front yard of her Cedartown home on December 30. Chief Dodd was initially unaware video of the girls death was being shared on social media. We were actually contacted by a police officer from California who saw it the night of the event, Chief Dodd told FOX 5’s Deidra Dukes. The police departments been flooded with Facebook messages, emails, and phone calls from as far away as Great Britain from people who are outraged the video is being shared online and demanding the police have it taken down. Chief Dodd has personally contacted several of the individuals operating the websites that posted the disturbing footage. Hes urged them to pull the video, without success. The chief said he wishes he could force them to take it down legally, but his hands are tied. We want it down as much as anyone for the family and it may be harmful to other kids. We contacted some of the sites. They asked if they had to take it down and by law they dont. But its just the common decent thing to do in my opinion, said Chief Dodd. Two Tales Of Privacy in online social networks
Social networks for Christians are slowly taking over in the social media world. Just like the rest of the social networks available today, the Christian networks bring together people that have a variety of interests. They have proven to be a great way to share the good news and provide the kind of support the different members want as well as furnish a place to discuss different issues related to Christianity.
Perhaps the best thing about the Christian social network is the ability to help individuals who find their walk in faith a bit challenging or hard to keep up. It is common for individuals who are religious to reach that point where they feel as if they are losing their faith and lack the strength to go on. When a crisis of faith occurs, it is very easy to become weak but the social networks helps by offering the spiritual help such individuals need, providing them the needed assistance in their journey of faith.
With the Christian social networks, you will find the kind of help and guidance you need to give you a boost and strengthen you because your walk in faith can be difficult at times. There are also those times when you feel the need to pray with someone but cant seem to find the right person. At such times, the social networks come in handy since all you need to do is find a prayer buddy with whom to pray.
More than once a person will feel the need to pray with someone in times of temptation or those times when life seems to be at a crossroads. Help and guidance can easily be found on the Christian social network as well as the calmness and happiness which can be found by locating a prayer buddy.
The Christian social network is also a great place to find a friend as you will always have a shoulder you can lean on. Sometimes it is not just about praying but also about venting to someone about what has been bothering you or just talking to relieve a burden that could be wearing you down. By communicating with others on the network, you will get the best kind of advice and the issue you thought was so difficult to work through will finally be resolved.
Aside from praying and getting guidance from each other, you can get daily verses from the Bible meant to guide your day. There is no better way to start the day than with an incredible Bible verse to provide the guidance and joy you need during the day.
