Germany Passes Law to Fine Social Media Companies that Fail to Remove Hate Speech

Germany passed a bill affecting social media. It gave companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter 24 hours to remove hateful speech. Failure to do so will result in a fine of up to 50 million euros.
