Llanfair Retirement Community is pleased to announce a partnership with the University of Cincinnatis Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). Beginning with classes in the fall 2014 Term, members of OLLI will be able to attend opportunities for lifetime learning on the Llanfair campus.

OLLI at the University of Cincinnati offers great classes and terrific teachers in a relaxed, informal environment. OLLIs motto is no tests, no papers, no grades. Each year OLLI offers more than 400 courses ranging from eight-week long seminars to two-hour presentations on a wide range of topics, covering the arts, Cincinnati-specific topics, history, lifestyle, medical, science, social and travel.
Currently more than 1100 members take one or more of OLLIs 170 eight-week courses each quarter at either the Tangeman University Center, UC Blue Ash campuses or off the UC campus at Adath Israel, Sycamore Senior Center, and Spring Grove Cemetery.
Adding Llanfairs Westside location expands OLLIs reach to conveniently serve more students, said Cate OHara, Program Director, OLLI at University of Cincinnati.
Anyone aged 50+ is eligible to join OLLI and take courses. The only prerequisite is a desire to learn; no college degree is required. Classes at Llanfair will be held Fridays 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Called Fab Fridays, the curriculum will be a onetime course, special program or event.
