Of the traders surveyed, 64 percent (1,443) noted that they left their jobs in the past 3 years to become full-time traders. 72 percent (1039) of those full-time forex traders indicated that they quit their jobs because they were already earning more money per month trading. This is a significant indication that there are more retail forex traders than ever who are profiting.
When asked if they are under more stress now than at their previous jobs, an overwhelming 92 percent (1,328) said they are living with significantly less stress trading forex than working at a full-time job. Moreover, 90 percent (730) of the part-time traders surveyed said they are seriously considering quitting their jobs and trading forex on a full-time basis.
